The PR08-2DN is an industrial-grade proximity sensor from the renowned series of sensors and transducers. This inductive sensor is designed with a cylinder package and offers a sensing distance of 0.079" (2mm) for precise detection of objects. The PR08-2DN is an NPN-normally open, 3-wire output device that responds at a frequency of 1kHz. With an unshielded design, this sensor is suitable for general-purpose applications where magnetic interference is not present. This sensor is active in the temperature range of -25°C to 70°C (TA) and features an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water ingress.
